The group
Luz de Luna is a artists‘ collective from Colombia with over 35 years of experience. The group has shared its works, workshops, and experiences in various national and international venues.
The group has developed its own unique poetic style, focusing its efforts and resources on creating works that address the reality and historical moment we live in, highlighting human rights, Vulnerable communities, and childhood.
The performing
Alamala is a place, a gesture, a feeling, a state, an emotion, a god, and an action of a group of men and women who walk, travel, and live in every place they find themselves. Together they remember their moments of happiness, but they also share anxieties, memories, and flavors. The sounds of their instruments, Songs, dances, and silences engage the aUdience, weaving a memory that seems lost. Time and again, they return to their roots, to the Andes, to their ritual relationship with the coca plant, and to their mountains, rivers, and valleys as Sacred teritories.
